Today, James opens in Camberley Theatre’s annual pantomime Snow White, playing Keith - your friendly neighbourhood greengrocer who just so happens to be Snow White’s bestie (and unassuming true love!) The show plays until the 31st December.

In his debut season with the RSC, James will be playing Gerry/Pianist in Sam Kenyon’s musical ‘Miss Littlewood’ and Romeo in ‘Boundless as the Sea’, a new play by Owen Horsley featuring many of Shakespeare’s most iconic characters on board Cunard’s flagship Queen Mary 2.

On the evening of 2nd August James will be performing as one of four soloists in ‘Some Enchanted Evening’ - an alfresco concert featuring favourites from the great musical theatre tradition. Set in the beautiful surroundings of St John’s Lodge Garden, the concert forms part of the ‘Secret Garden Series’ held by Regent’s Park Music Festival.

Collaborating with dancer/choreographers Emma Holt & Samantha Ho and film-makers YDT Studios, James is very excited to share the music video for his song ‘Mother’. Shot on location in Richmond Park, it brings to life a core concept of the ‘GAIA’ EP, that of moving in harmony with nature.

James recently had the pleasure of workshopping a brand new British musical: A Second Chance for an industry showing at the Union Theatre. With music and lyrics by Colin Ross Waterson and book by Ben Hartley, the show tells the story of a young aspirational singer discovering his true identity, from his humble beginnings working in a Glasgow launderette to the troubling heights of fame as a pop sensation.
